Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance Wins An Emmy
The good folks at The Jim Henson Company won an Emmy last week for their work on Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance. Well, technically it tied for the Emmy for Best Children’s Program with We Are The Dream: The Kids Of The Oakland MLK Oratorical Fest. Lisa Henson was on hand to accept the award, presented by an evil chicken tycoon.

Dark Cystal: Age of Resistance Has Been Cancelled
Unfortunately an Emmy couldn’t save them, as Netflix officially cancelled Age of Resistance after just one season. Lisa Henson has revealed that they may look for other ways to continue the story, but that it may not take the form of a television show. Which is disappointing, because I need more Hup in my life.

The Monster At The End Of This Story – Coming Soon
We all know The Monster At The End Of This Book. It’s a classic, as Grover panics only to find that, spoiler alert, HE is the aforementioned monster! Now Sesame Street are adapting the story for an animated television special, starring Grover and Elmo to go live on HBO Max on October 22nd! They’ve begun a whole #FurryMonsters campaign, too, with new merchandise on its way, and even a site where you can turn yourself into a Sesame Street Monster! Check out a fun preview above.
