Labyrinth – The RPG

Jarrod Fairclough – For many moons, Dungeons and Dragons has been a favorite of children and adults alike.  Copycats like Pathfinder and Warcraft have paved the way for other brands to make their own versions, and in recent years we’ve seen Role Player Games in the worlds of Star Wars, Marvel, and other pop culture phenomenons (doo doo do doo do).

And now, from the mind of River Horse Games and The Jim Henson Company comes an RPG set in the world of Labyrinth, Jim Henson’s cult classic from 1986, which starred David Bowie and a young Jennifer Connelly!

There are 90 possible scenes to play out in the table top game, and each time you play is guaranteed to be a different route.  Also included is a 13 hour count down, in which you will either defeat Jareth the Goblin King, or let him take your little brother.  Also included is a booklet with art from original art director Brian Froud, which will include a place to store your dice.

I’m only a novice at these sorts of games, but I’ll be darned if I’m not going to play as Hoggle and be extremely rude to all my friends!

There’s no official release date, but hopefully we can expect it soon.
